My name is Julia and I work full-time with creativity. My days can include a bit of everything: painting, illustrating, drawing people at events, making ceramics and holding creative workshops. Right now I'm also building my own Art Café in Oslo, a place where people can get to join in on this creative universe. I've never managed to choose just one creative direction, so I let the projects live side by side. Behind JFpaintings I create colorful art, collage, illustration and ceramics. On social media I share both finished works and everything that happens along the way: the ideas, the materials, the attempts that don't quite go as planned, and the moments when something suddenly falls into place. I like to create visual content that shows how products and materials can become part of a creative everyday life, especially within art, ceramics, interior and creative lifestyle. A collaboration is welcome to be nice to look at, but it should still feel natural and make people feel something. I thrive best when I get to be creative, tell a little story and invite people along behind the scenes.
